William’s Warriors, a local group of walkers, are embarking on the gruelling National Three Peaks 24 hour challenge. This challenge involves climbing Ben Nevis (1344m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978m) in the Lake District and Snowdon (1085m) in Wales within 24 hours, including the driving time between each peak. This challenge will take place next Friday, 5th July.
The intrepid team will be raising money on behalf of two local charities, St Michaels Hospice & our own Pinewoods Conservation Group. The target is £2000 and donations are already starting to come in. Anybody wishing to donate online can do so via http://www.charitygiving.co.uk/weareatitagain.
