Harrogate Council have just confirmed that Chalara (known as Ash die-back) has been identified in a single Ash tree near to the Pinewoods. Swift removal of the infected tree has been arranged by the land owner.
As there are a number of young Ash in the Pinewoods members are encouraged to look out for signs of infection when in the woods and report to us if needed.
